The aisle in a tissue organza Vera Wang gown as a string quartet played Mendelssohn's "Wedding March."
The gorgeous setting ceremony went off without a hitch. the garden of the Mediterranean-style estate under a hydrangea-and rose-covered gazebo. The party then made its way through a willow-branch arbor for cocktails by a pond — complete with a pair of swans — where crystal chandeliers hung from the trees.
Bridesmaids who caught the bouquet — wore Vera Wang pink crepe-chiffon gowns.
The reception, which was held in a red organza tent filled with touches both artfully gothic and unmistakably personal. At tables boasting lush red roses, guests dined on beef tenderloin with haricot verts, salmon with basil risotto and, for vegans, wild mushroom ravioli.
The Perfect Endings cake, covered in white-chocolate fondant, was adorned with sugar flowers and the duo's initials, a medieval monogram "Avril picked Deryck".
